Jay Wilson (center) was recognized at the NCMCA Triad Chapter's September meeting in Burlington. Wilson retired from Scott Stone August 1st after thirty-one years. He began as a Scott Stone truck driver and moved into sales in 1996. He has served as Triad Chapter treasurer for about nineteen years. Jay says, “It has been my pleasure to serve the masonry industry, and will miss all of my friends in the industry.” NCMCA President Kent Huntley (left) and Triad Chapter President and Past NCMCA President Red McAdams (right) were among the well-wishers attending the dinner. And while it hasn't drawn much attention, President McAdams, well past traditional retirement age, is also now somewhat retired, having shut down his company, McAdams Masonry. He works now helping friends in the masonry business "when I feel like it."
